Where did all these clothes come from?

All of the inventory on our site was donated on behalf one of our 20,000 participating schools. Anyone can donate to Schoola—individuals, corporations, and retailers have all donated to support our mission of helping kids reach their full potential at school.

What sizes do you carry?

We offer clothing from infant sizes through juniors and teens and women. You can find specialty sizes as well: Shop petite, plus-sized and maternity items at Schoola. Thousands of new items are being added every day!

You can filter any page of products down by the size you are interested in by using the size filters presented down the left size of each page. In addition, you can save your searches as a custom collection, and we’ll email you when new items are added that match your preferences! back to top

Can I save my sizes or frequent searches?

You can save your searches by creating a custom collection. Your custom collections will be saved with your email address, and new items are being added to our site everyday. So each time you log in to Schoola, you should see new items that match your criteria.

An item I am interested in is marked "Blemished." What does that mean?

At Schoola we only carry items that we would feel comfortable passing on to a friend. Sometimes a great item has a small hole or imperfection. If the imperfection is smaller than the size of a quarter, we will sell it as "Blemished" with a deeper discount and let you know where it is. Usually these items can be restored to great use with a little TLC. If you receive an item that is not as described, please let us know within 14 days of receipt and we'll make it right, and then some.

I have a coupon. Where can I see my discount applied?

If you have a coupon that offers you a discount off of your order total, you may need to add items to your shopping bag in order to see that your discount has been applied. Enter your email address and your coupon code in the designated boxes on our checkout page, and if your order total reaches any minimum value required to receive the discount, you should see the discount reflected in red text in your itemized order total.

I was referred by a friend. Where can I see my discount?

If a friend has shared a referral credit for you to use on your first order via their unique referral link, you may need to add items to your shopping bag and fill out your billing and shipping information in order to see that your credit has been applied. Be sure to create an account by clicking "Join/Sign In" at the top of our home page. If you don’t see the total you were expecting to see, it may be because of our "one referral per household" rule. I referred a friend who placed an order. Where can I see the credits I have earned?

If you have successfully introduced friends to Schoola, congratulations! You should be able to see your credit balance on your referral page (make sure you are logged in to your Schoola account). If you don’t see the total you were expecting to see, it may be because of our "one referral per household" rule. If you have questions you can see our program terms & conditions here. There is a $500 limit to the amount of credit you can receive in a single calendar year. Your referral link will continue to work to offer your friends discounts to try schoola, but you can only receive $500 in credit each year as a referrer. You will see the option on the checkout page to apply your referral credits once you log in with your referring email address and add items to your shopping bag.

I noticed I can’t use discounts or credits on new with tags items. Why not?

We do our best to be fair to both our donors and our customers. We frequently do promotions in order to accelerate sales before the end of a fundraising period so that we can pass the proceeds on to schools before our quarterly check runs. However, New with Tags items are not subject to these discounts because they sell quickly on their own. Market rate for New with Tags items fluctuates less than gently used items. This policy protects that value, so we can pass it on to our donor schools.

How long before my order arrives?

Orders ship in 1-3 business days from the purchase date. Orders are shipped via Super Saver Shipping and usually arrive in 8-14 days.

You will receive an order confirmation email, and a shipping confirmation email complete with tracking information once your package is on its way. Package volume and severe weather can affect the time required to get your items. Please use these estimates as guidance. You can always reach us at with questions or issues.

What do you charge for shipping?

Super Saver Shipping is free for orders totaling $25 or more (before tax and after all discounts and credits have been applied) for up to 10 items, and $1 for each additional item.

For order totals under $25, Super Saver Shipping is $6.99 for up to 10 items, and $1 for each additional item.

Do you offer rush shipping?

At this time, only standard Super Saver Shipping is available. Orders usually arrive in 8-14 days.

Will you ship my order anywhere in the world?

Currently, we can only ship orders to the 48 contiguous United States. We cannot fulfill orders for Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, The U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, or outside the U.S. Check back with us from time to time, because we’re working on expanding our shipping locations!

I noticed that my order benefitted the "Schoola Scholars Fund"—what is that?

Occasionally we receive donations that are not designated to benefit a particular school. We pool the funds raised by selling these donations and designate them to causes we believe in. For instance, Schoola is donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of undesignated items to send 10,000 students to see the upcoming film "He Named Me Malala" as part of a partnership with Students Stand with Malala .

What is your return policy?

One way we accomplish offering great prices and distributing maximum funds to our school partners is by selling all of our garments and accessories as "final sale." We are unable to accept returns. Although we always do our best to catch imperfections when we accept items, if you receive an item that is not as described, please let us know within 14 days of its receipt.

How can I cancel my order?

How can I delete my shopper account?

Currently, our system does not have a way to delete registered accounts. However, your account will remain inactive if you do not use it, and you can opt out of our newsletter at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of any Schoola email.
